Does the job well! This is a good quality, thick plastic protector that will definitely protect my mattress from the bugs, damp and mould in it's present storage! I opted to use my own tape to secure the protector, rather than the sticky closure provided as my mattress is only Queen sized and I wanted the protector to fit tightly around the mattress. This was easy to do using some tucking and folding.
